The Broadmeadow Experience
Situated in the heart of the Shropshire Hills and set in 15 acres of ancient meadow complete with horse paddocks. Bordered on two sides by a freshwater brook the site contains an acre of marshland conservation area abundant with natural flora and fauna, including buzzards and herons.
Camping in the Shropshire Hills
Take time out and use us as a base to take in all the surrounding beautiful hills, either walking or cycling. Visit the many local places of interest, or just simply relax. Local hourly bus service to Church Stretton/Ludlow or Shrewsbury. We are just off the A49, so expect some traffic noise, but this also provides very easy access to – well everywhere!! We have a central fire pit with barbecue attached, which you are welcome to use. There is a good Pub adjacent to the site.

Caravans, motorhomes and tents all welcome! We have 15 pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, all level grass sites with easy access. There are 10 electric hookups available.

Broadmeadow is ancient meadow land and has been organically farmed for many generations, which is why it is abundant with flora and fauna – and is considered a conservation area. Deer, badgers, buzzards and many other wildlife species have made their home within this area.
We have taken great care to ensure that we work with Nature to minimise our impact on the land, guided and advised by local conservation trusts when necessary.

The hills and the Long Mynd are ace, we walked 71 miles total in the week. The owners are a friendly helpful couple with answers and advice about everything if you need it.
